Summary

Authorization to execute procurement contract of Accela Right-of-Way Management software. The current Right-of-Way database is antiquated and at end of life.  Accela Right-of-Way Management solution will allow greater functionality and communication among LFUCG Divisions and local utilities. The cost for FY 2016 will be $64,325.00. The annual impact will be $45,000. Funds are budgeted for FY 2016. (L01048-15)(Paulsen)

                     BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute a multi-year Agreement with Accela, Inc., a sole source provider, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, for right-of-way management software and support services, at a cost not to exceed $64,325.00 in FY 2016. 

                     Section 2 - That an amount not to exceed $64,325.00 in FY 2016 be and hereby is approved for payment to Accela Inc., from account # 4201-303202-71304 pursuant to the terms of the Agreement.

                     Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
