Summary
Authorization to submit various applications to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet--Office of Local Programs and to the Lexington Area Metropolitan Planning Organization requesting federal funds from the Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP). TAP projects in Lexington are the Brighton Rail Trail Bridge, the West Hickman Trail south, and the Legacy Trail Horse Park. If funded this project will begin in fiscal year 2017 and will require a 20% local match. The funds requested are $6,122,623. The LFUCG contribution will be $557,652. (L1076-15)(Gooding/Paulsen)
