Summary
Authorization for the purchase of an additional twenty-five (25) flock cameras from Flock Group Inc. for the existing License Plate Reader System. This also covers the warranty and implementation of the cameras; all for the period of August 1, 2024, through March 1, 2025, at a cost of $53,375. An additional payment of $400,000 will be due March 1, 2025 and will get all cameras on the same renewal schedule. Funds are included in the FY 2025 Mayor's Proposed Budget. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Flock Group Inc., for the purchase of twenty-five Flock Cameras, warranty and implementation of the cameras.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $453,375.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to Flock Group Inc., from account #1101-505506-76102 in FY 2025.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
