BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute and submit the Grant Application, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, seeking up to $250,000.00 in Federal funds from the USDA Forest Service, under the Urban and Community Forestry Inflation Reduction Act Grant Program, for the implementation of the Urban Forestry Stewardship Program in Department of Environmental Services, and to provide any additional information requested in connection with this Grant Application.
Section 2 -That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
