Summary

Authorization to Execute Change Order #2 with Element Design in the amount of $6,600.00 for the Idle Hour Park Improvement Project Contract #58-2015.  The Change Order will provide design services for a half court basketball court and extension of the walking trail in the park.  The new contract total is $41,200.00.  Funds are Budgeted.                      BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute Change Order No. 2, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, to the contract with Element Design, PLLC for the Idle Hour Park Improvement Project, increasing the contract price by the sum of $6,600.00 from $34,600.00 to $41,200.00.

                     Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $6,600.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to Element Design, PLLC from account #1105-606102-6081-90511 pursuant to the terms of the Change Order.

                     Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
