BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to accept an award of $1,300,000.00 in Federal funds for a three year period from the Bureau of Justice Assistance's Comprehensive Opioid, Stimulant, and Substance Abuse Site-based Program, in order to reduce the number of overdose fatalities, for the Division of Fire and Emergency Services, the acceptance of which does not obligate the Urban County Government for the expenditure of funds.
