Summary
Authorization to execute Purchase of Service Agreement in the amount of $251,830 between the LFUCG and the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Human Rights Commission. These funds are to support the operating costs of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Human Rights Commission. The agency will continue to safeguard all individuals within Lexington-Fayette County from discrimination based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, familial status and sexual orientation/gender identity in connection with housing, employment, and public accommodations and to effect provisions the Kentucky Civil Rights Act, Urban County Ordinance 199-94 and 201-99, provision 7.17 of the Lexington-Fayette Merger Charter of 1974, and other laws relating to the Commission. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute a Purchase of Service Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Human Rights Commission, for purchase of services for FY 2016.
