BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That Subsection 16-6.2 of the Code of Ordinances, Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and the same is hereby created to read as follows:
Section 16-6.2
(a) The division of waste management will pick up carcasses of small animals such as dogs, cats, rabbits, gerbils, or other typical household pets at the offices of veterinarians located in the division of waste management refuse collection service area. Such pickups will be scheduled by the division upon request. The fee for each pickup shall be $45 with a maximum of five (5) animals per pickup.
