BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to accept an additional award of $178,492.56 of Federal funds from the Kentucky Division of Emergency Management, in order to upgrade the transmission site at Crawford Middle School, purchase a mobile siren deployment trailer, and purchase six outdoor warning siren chargers, the acceptance of which obligates the Urban County Government to the expenditure of $89,246.28 as a local match.
Section 2 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute any necessary Agreements related to these Federal funds.
Section 3 - That subject to the provisions of Section 7-48 of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government Code of Ordinances, the Mayor is hereby authorized, in her discretion as Chief Executive Officer of the Urban County Government, to transfer the unencumbered balance of any operating or capital account appropriation to another operating or capital account appropriation within the Grant Budget established for this Grant.
