A Resolution of the Urban County Council acknowledging the receipt of the report of the Goal 4 Work Group and recommending that the Planning Commission further review, with public input, the report in development of the 2023 Comprehensive Plan. [Council Office, Maynard]

WHEREAS, the Goal 4 Workgroup of the Urban County Council has developed a report (the “Report”) in response to Goal 4 of the 2018 Comprehensive Plan that was adopted pursuant to KRS Chapter 100, and has presented and recommended endorsement of the Report, and has further recommended that the Report be considered in the development of the Comprehensive Plan by the Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Plan provides an evaluation tool in the identification of land for preservation and identification of land for potential future urban development and a process for said evaluation for purposes of the Comprehensive Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY COUNCIL:
Section 1 - That the Urban County Council hereby acknowledges receipt of the Report of the Goal 4 Workgroup.
Section 2 - That the Urban County Council recommends that the Planning Commission further review, with public input, the Report in the development of the 2023 Comprehensive Plan.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
