WHEREAS, the City of Hindman, Kentucky has requested assistance from the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government in the form of surplus vehicles donations;
WHEREAS, KRS 82.083 in conjunction with KRS 67A.060 authorizes the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government to transfer personal property to other governmental agencies without consideration;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to take all steps necessary to transfer four (4) vehicles, VIN 1FTYR14V61PB10788, VIN 1FTYR14V23PA99176, VIN 1FTVF12525NA35703, and VIN 1FTVF12587NA18942, worth an estimated total value of $7,800.00 to the City of Hindman, Kentucky at no charge.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
