Authorization for Facility Usage and Concession Agreements between LFUCG and various youth baseball and softball leagues, which provide youth sports for the community by utilizing LFUCG (park) facilities for the 2022 calendar year. Leagues maintain programs, competitive fields and a field for public use at Veterans, Shillito, Cardinal Run South, Ecton, Lansdowne Merrick, Kenawood and Constitution parks. Funds are Budgeted. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute the Facility Usage and Concessions Agreements, which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Bluegrass Girls Fastpitch Softball, Inc., Eastern Little League Baseball, Inc., Northern Cal Ripken, Inc., South Lexington Babe Ruth League, Inc., South Lexington Youth Baseball, Inc., Southeastern Babe Ruth League, Inc., Summit Fast-Pitch Softball, Inc., Southeastern Little League, Inc., and Bluegrass Little League, Inc., Granting the leagues the right to use LFUCG baseball fields and facilities for the 2022 spring and fall seasons.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
