This is a request to execute MOU with the KyCDTF, whose mission is to assist in the elimination of illegal drug activity in the State of Kentucky through education, suppression and interdiction. The KyCDTF will provide airmen or soldier(s) to the Division of Police for the purpose of providing administrative, operational, investigative, and/or counterdrug information support. There is no budgetary impact.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute the Memorandum of Understanding, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Kentucky National Guard Counterdrug Task Force, for administrative, operational and investigative support.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
