This is a request to accept a donation of a military surplus ARFF vehicle secured via Government Surplus through the Kentucky Fire Commission.  This truck will replace E50 at Bluegrass Station which has been out of service since December and is non repairable.  The estimated current value is $165,000.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
      Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to accept a donation of a military surplus ARFF apparatus (fire engine), valued at $165,000.00, from the Kentucky Fire Commission, for use by the Division of Fire and Emergency Services.
      Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
