Summary

Authorization to execute a Clinical/Practical Education Agreement with Eastern Kentucky University, College of Health Sciences, to accept students pursuing a degree in Recreation and Park Administration with an emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation. The community-based internship program is under the direct supervision of a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS). No Budgetary impact. (L0325-22) (Conrad/Ford)

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the Clinical/Practical Education Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Eastern Kentucky University, for students pursuing a degree in Recreation and Park Administration to work as interns with the Division of Parks and Recreation, at no cost to the Urban County Government.

                     Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
