Authorization to purchase tasers from Taser International, which is a Sole Source Vendor. This purchase is for 200 X2’s, APPM, Hogue grips, holster and 6 TASER cartridges per X2. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Division of Police, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to purchase tasers from Taser International, a sole source provider.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $319,245.84, be and hereby is approved for payment to Taser International, $312,000.00 from account # 2607-505501-75801, and $7,245.84 from account # 1101-505507-75801, pursuant to the terms of the purchase requisition.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
