Summary
Authorization to accept award from the Lexington-Fayette County Health Department in the amount of $489,160 to continue the Home Network Project at the Family Care Center-FY 2016. The Home Network provides home visitation services for high risk families from birth of the first child up to age two. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to accept a Grant from the Lexington-Fayette County Health Department, which Grant funds are in the amount of $489,160.00 Federal funds, are for the Home Network Project at the Family Care Center, and the acceptance of which does not obligate the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government for the expenditure of funds.
