BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute and submit the Grant Application, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, seeking $150,926.00 in Federal funds from the U.S. Department of Justice, under the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program in Fiscal Year 2024, for equipment for the Lexington Police Department, and to provide any additional information requested in connection with this Grant Application.
Section 2 -That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
