Summary
Authorization to amend Lease Agreement (R 222-2012); Contract (#217-2012) with North Central Area Health Education Center (AHEC) for approximately 797 S/ft of rentable space with the Black & Williams Neighborhood Center located at 498 Georgetown Street in Lexington. The amendment allows for continued occupancy at the same terms and conditions for one (1) additional year during which time a new facility usage plan promoting occupant activity to serve community-based need is created. The amendment provides that all other terms & conditions of the agreement shall remain the same; becomes effective on July 1, 2015, and expires on June 30, 2016. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute the First Amendment to Lease Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with North Central Area Health Education Center (AHEC), extending the lease for one (1) additional year beginning July 1, 2015 and ending on June 30, 2016.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
