Summary
Authorization to abolish five (5) sworn positions of Fire Captain (Grade 316N) and create four (4) sworn positions of Fire Lieutenant (Grade 315N), and three (3) sworn positions of Firefighter (Grade 311N) in the Division of Fire and Emergency Services, effective upon passage of Council. The Division of Fire and Emergency Services is requesting this restructuring in an effort to ensure responsible and efficient operations. This has a future impact of a savings of $23,297.25.
