Summary
Authorization to execute a Purchase of Service Agreement (PSA), with the Children's Advocacy Center of the Bluegrass, which will allow the Police Department to provide funding to assist in our efforts with forensic interviews. As a result of the funding provided by the Lexington Police Department to the Children's Advocacy Center of the Bluegrass, there will be extended hours of operation until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday's and Thursday's, and they have created six (6) additional slots for Police Department forensic interviews. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the Purchase of Service Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Children's Advocacy of the Bluegrass, for extended hours and additional forensic interviews.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $50,000.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to Children's Advocacy of the Bluegrass, from account # 1101-505506-71299, pursuant to the terms of the agreement.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
