Summary
Authorization for an Agreement with the Transit Authority of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government (a/k/a Lextran) that allows access to the portion of the 800 MHz Radio System owned by this government. The Agreement permits Lextran to program its radios to use Lexington’s radio system for a fee of $131.13 per radio/per year with provisions for a 3% annual increase in years two (2) through (5) of the Agreement. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with the Transit Authority of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, for access to the 800MHz Radio System owned by the government at no budgetary impact.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
