A Resolution authorizing the adoption of the Emergency Operations Plan for Lexington-Fayette County, Ky. by Executive Order. [Div. of Emergency Management, Dugger]

 

 

Summary

Authorization to sign the Executive Order and Promulgation for the Emergency Operations Plan. The plan provides a structured framework for all hazard planning, operations and recovery. Per KRS 39B.030 (2) All counties are to develop an Emergency Operations Plan.  This section also states that the plan will developed consistent with the KYEM’s EOP, KRS 30A - 39F, KYEM Planning Guidance and Administrative Regulations.  It is a requirement that the local elected officials adopt the local EOP.  No Budgetary impact. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1 - That the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government adopts the Emergency Operations Plan, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, for Lexington-Fayette County, Kentucky, by Executive Order.

                     Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
