Summary
Authorization to abolish one (1) unclassified position of Public Information Officer (Grade 523E) and create one (1) classified position of Public Information Officer (Grade 523E) in the Division of Police, effective upon passage by Council. This position was initially grant funded; however is now part of the Division of Police personnel budget. Therefore, it is no longer considered temporary in nature. Section 1 - That subsection line number 550.005 in the unclassified civil serviced authorized strength be and hereby is deleted.
Section 2 - That the following subsection line number in the classified civil service authorized strength be and hereby is created to read as follows:
550.005 1 930 523E Public Information Officer
Section 3 - That this Ordinance shall become effective on passage.
