Summary
Authorization to execute the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Program Funded State & Local Task Force Agreement. The terms of the Agreement shall be from October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2018. This Agreement allows for two (2) Detectives assigned to the DEA State & Local Task Force positions, within the Lexington Police Department, to be assigned as Program Funded State & Local Task Force positions. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with the United States Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration for participation in the State and Local Task Force.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
