Title
An Ordinance amending the authorized strength by creating one (1) Unclassified Civil Service Position of Recreation Manager, Grade 518E, and one (1) Unclassified Civil Service Position of Recreation Specialist Sr., Grade 516E, both in the Div. of Parks and Recreation, effective upon passage of Council. [Div. of Human Resources, Maxwell]
Summary
Authorization to create one (1) unclassified position of Recreation Manager (Grade 518E) and create one (1) unclassified position of Recreation Specialist Sr. (Grade 516E) with a term date of three years (expiring November 2018), in the Division of Parks and Recreation, effective the first payroll Monday following passage of Council. Upon the request of division, and in accordance with Section 22-2 (4) of the Code of Ordinances, the Division of Human Resources conducted a classification study on the requested position. The positions were analyzed by staff using the whole job rank and factor comparison methods. As a result, a recommendation for their requested positions is described in this action. This has a 12-month future impact of a cost of $124,128.51. Funds are budgeted. (L1479-15)(Maxwell/Reed)
