Summary
Authorization to execute Facility Usage and Concession Agreements between LFUCG and various youth baseball and softball leagues for the 2026 calendar year. The term of the Agreement shall be for one year commencing on the date of execution. After the initial term, the Agreement shall renew automatically for two (2) successive one (1) year periods, unless the Agreement is terminated. The franchisees are responsible for day-to-day maintenance and operation costs. Funds are Budgeted for utilities and all repair costs associated with structural, roofing, electric, HVAC and plumbing. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute the Facility Usage and Concessions Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Southeastern Little League, Southeastern Babe Ruth, South Lexington Youth Baseball, South Lexington Babe Ruth, Bluegrass Little League, Bluegrass Fast Pitch Softball, Eastern Little League, and Northern Cal-Ripken, Granting the leagues the right to use LFUCG baseball and softball fields for the calendar year of 2026.
