Summary
Authorization to approve Contract Modification No. 1 with J.M. Crawford and Associates, Inc., for design of the Brighton Rail Trail Bridge adding an additional $19,500 to the contract for a new total of $151,740 and to amend Resolution No. 352-2010 to provide for a change in the source of funds for the original contract. Due to project inactivity, previous CMAQ funding was withdrawn. Engineering is requesting that Resolution No. 352-2010 be amended to provide for change in source of funds in the amount of $42,316.80. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute Modification No. One (1), which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, to the Contract with J. M. Crawford & Associates, Inc., for the design of the Brighton Rail Trail Bridge, increasing the contract price by the sum of $19,500.00 from $132,240.00 to $151,740.00, and amending the source of funds for the project.
