Summary
Authorization to abolish one (1) classified position of Network Engineer (Grade 520E), and create one (1) classified position of Network Systems Administrator Senior (Grade 522N) in the Division of Computer Services, effective upon passage of Council. This position is being requested by the Division so they can manage all aspects of LFUCG’s network and remediate many information security risks. They will also mitigate our single point of failure staffing concern for this mission-critical role. To illustrate, this has a 12-month future impact of a cost of $6,750.91. Funds are budgeted. Section 3 - That this Ordinance shall become effective upon date of passage.
