BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That Section 2-457 of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government Code of Ordinances, be and hereby is amended to read as follows:
A commission is hereby created which shall be known as the “Commission for People with Disabilities”.
Section 2 - That Section 2-463(3) of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government Code of Ordinances, be and hereby is amended to read as follows:
(3) Publicize the role of the commission for people with disabilities and the resources available to assist citizens with disabilities, employers, housing representatives, business owners, engineers and architects, and others who have a role in bettering the life of Lexington-Fayette County citizens.
Section 3 - That this Ordinance shall become effective upon the date of its passage.
