Title

A Resolution authorizing the Div. of Traffic Engineering, pursuant to Code of Ordinances Section 18-51, to install traffic calming devices on Gibson Ave., between Devonshire Ave. and South Broadway. [Council Office, Maynard]

 

Body

WHEREAS, pursuant to Code of Ordinances Section 18-51, the Division of Traffic Engineering is authorized and empowered to place and maintain traffic-control signs, signals and devices where necessary to regulate traffic; and

                     WHEREAS, the Urban County Council has determined that Gibson Avenue, between Devonshire Avenue and South Broadway, should have traffic calming devices;

                     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1 - That the Division of Traffic Engineering shall install traffic calming devices on Gibson Avenue, between Devonshire Avenue and South BRd.way.

                     Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
