The change order in the amount of $51,005 is fully budgeted and represents an 8.21% increase of the original contract amount. The increase was required to pay for rerouting the sanitary sewer, installing additional manholes and piping for the flow meter, to furnish and install a disconnect per Kentucky Utilities, to furnish and install an additional creek crossing, and furnish and install an additional 8" valve. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute Change Order No. 1 (FINAL), which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, to the Contract with Grant's Excavating, Inc., for the Blue Sky Pump Station and Force Main Contract 1 - Pump Station, increasing the contract price by the sum of $51,005.00 from $570,000.00 to $621,005.00.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $51,005.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to Grant's Excavating, Inc., from account #4003-303408-928...
