A Resolution accepting the bid of Community Action Council ("CAC") to RFP No. 22-2022 and authorizing and directing the Mayor, on behalf of the Urban County Government, to execute a Subrecipient Agreement with CAC in order to allocate $4,000,000 of Federal Grant funds awarded pursuant to the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 to the CAC for a Transitional Housing Pilot Project, and authorizing the Mayor to execute any other needed Agreements or amendments with the CAC related to the use of these funds. Summary
Authorization to award $4 million of federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding for a Transitional Housing Pilot Project to Community Action Council for Lexington-Fayette, Bourbon, Harrison & Nicholas Counties to provide transitional housing and supportive services directly to households experiencing homelessness, and to execute all necessary Agreements to provide this funding. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the bid of Community Action Council ("CAC"), in response to RFP No. 22-2022, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be and hereby is accepted and approved as to the specifications and amounts set forth in the bid and any agreements hereby established.
