This is a request to submit application to the Kentucky Department for Local Government requesting federal funds in the amount of $75,000 from the FY 2012 Land and Water Conservation Fund for construction of a new ADA accessible trail at Raven Run Nature Sanctuary. LFUCG will provide a match in the amount of $75,000 for a total project cost of $150,000.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute and submit the Grant Application, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, to the Kentucky Department for Local Government and to provide any additional information requested in connection with this Grant Application, which Grant funds are in the amount of $75,000 Federal funds, and are for construction of a new trail at Raven Run Nature Sanctuary.
