BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
      Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to accept national mortgage foreclosure settlement funds from the Office of the Attorney General of Kentucky in the amount of $759,125.00, for use in initiatives that help displaced families, prevent foreclosures and create affordable housing, and the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute the Memorandum of Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with the Office of the Attorney General of Kentucky, related to the funds.
      Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
