WHEREAS, the Central Kentucky Regional Business Park Authority (the "Authority") is an economic development entity created by the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government in conjunction with other regional local governments and to which the Urban County Government is a member;
WHEREAS, the Authority has property available in Berea, Kentucky, which is ready to be developed into the Central Kentucky Regional Business Park;
WHEREAS, the Authority, through its members, continues to seek funding to develop the Central Kentucky Regional Business Park in order to support economic development and job creation in Lexington and the region;
WHEREAS, the Office of United States Representative Andy Barr has indicated that there May be federal funding available for Community Projects such as site design, infrastructure improvements, and site preparation for business park projects; and
