(even numbered), to release all properties in the moratorium except for 1501-1509 Versailles Rd. (odd-numbered); to allow the Planning Commission and the Urban County Government sufficient time to consider the development needs of the Versailles Rd. corridor and the proper zoning for potential affordable housing in the area; and setting the duration for the amended moratorium from April 13, 2017 through August 31, 2017. WHEREAS, an amended moratorium on the application for building permits in the defined area is necessary and appropriate to allow the Planning Commission and the Urban County Council sufficient time to consider the development needs of the Versailles Road Corridor area and the proper zoning for potential affordable housing in the area;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the moratorium set forth in Resolution 82-2017 is hereby amended to release all properties in the prior moratorium except for 1501-1509 Versailles Road (odd-numbered) (the "Subject Properties"); that the amended moratorium is imposed on all applications for building permits.
Section 2 - That the Division of Building Inspection is directed to refuse to accept any building permit applications for the Subject Properties for the duration of the moratorium.
