A Resolution authorizing and directing the Mayor, on behalf of the Urban County Government, to execute and submit a Grant Application seeking up to $15,000 in Federal funds from the Ky. Div. of Emergency Management, under the Federal Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) 2022 cycle, for the Div. of Emergency Management; authorizing the Mayor to provide any additional information requested in connection with this Grant Application; authorizing the Mayor to accept this Grant, if awarded, the acceptance of which obligates the Urban County Government to the expenditure of up to $15,000 as a local match; authorizing the Mayor to take any further necessary action related to the Grant; and lastly, authorizing the Mayor to transfer unencumbered funds within the Grant Budget. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute and submit a Grant application, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, seeking up to $15,000.00 in Federal funds from the Kentucky Division of Emergency Management, under the Federal Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) 2022 Cycle, for the Division of Emergency Management, and authorizing the Mayor to provide any additional information requested in connection with this Grant application.
Section 2 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Urban County Government, is hereby authorized to accept this Grant it the Grant is awarded, the acceptance of which obligates the Urban County Government to the expenditure of up to $15,000.00 as a local match, and further authorizing the Mayor to take any further action necessary action related to the Grant.
