WHEREAS, it is necessary and proper to amend the Budgets of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County
Government to pre-fund various components of the Fiscal Year 2025 Budget, as approved at Work Session May 28, 2024:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE
URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That certain of the Budgets of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government be and hereby are amended to pre-fund various components of the Fiscal Year 2025 Budget, as approved at Work Session May 28, 2024, and that to effect such Amendments the following appropriations be and hereby are authorized and directed:
) $_400,000_ _to_ Lexington Economic Development Fund _from_ various accounts.
) $_8,233,545_ _to_ Affordable Housing and Homelessness Fund _from_ various accounts.
) $_362,460_ _to_ Public Facilities General Fund _from_ various accounts.
) $_500,000_ _to_ Extended School Fund _from_ various accounts.
) $_3,849,950_ _to_ Enhanced 911 Fund _from_ various accounts.
) Re-appropriations within the General Services District Fund, General Fund Capital Projects, and the Water Quality Construction Fund, and the various Grant funds that do not result in changes to the Unappropriated Fund Balances of these funds.
Section 2 - That the purposes of the Budget Amendments and the Accounts to or from which funds are herein appropriated, are detailed in "BUDGET SCHEDULE NO. 0047", attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
Section 3 - That this Ordinance shall become effective on the date of its passage.
