WHEREAS, the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government has previously determined the necessity of financing the acquisition of various projects for departments within the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, including, but not limited to (i) fire training academy facility design, fire equipment including turnout gear and personal protective equipment, EMS replacement equipment, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) ramps, new general government vehicle acquisitions, road construction and improvements, road resurfacing, road maintenance, road upgrades, streetscapes and sidewalk improvements, public art and beautification projects, street and roads snow truck replacements and winter shelter infrastructure renovations and various other improvements within departments of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government (collectively, the "Series 2026A Project"), and (ii) paying certain costs related to the issuance of the Series 2026A Bonds; and
