Summary
Authorization for a third renewal of the Memorandum of Understanding between the LFUCG and the Lexington-Fayette County Health Department for Fats, Oils and Grease (FOG) training services to be included in the Health Department's Food Manager Certification classes. The Division of Water Quality has created a video outlining the problems caused by FOG from Food Services Establishments to our sanitary sewers and how these problems can be prevented. The Health department agreed to show the video and distribute FOG materials provided by LFUCG to all Food Manager Certification courses. This material is included in the annual Consent Decree Reporting. The annual project cost is $1,200. Funds are fully budgeted. (L0789-15)(Martin/Holmes)

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute an Addendum to the Memorandum of Understanding, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with the Lexington-Fayette County Health Department for Fats, Oil and Grease (FOG) Training, renewing the Memorandum of Understanding for a period of one (1) year.
