An Ordinance amending Section 2-87(a) of the Code of Ordinances related to the Masterson Station Park Advisory Board to amend the membership as follows: removing "Bracktown Neighborhood Association" and "Lexington Youth Soccer Association," and adding "Bracktown Neighborhood," and "a designated representative of an entity that provides programming at the Masterson Station Park East Side Soccer Complex," and further amending Section 2-87(d) of the Code of Ordinances, to allow members of the board to serve an indefinite number of terms, effective following passage of Council. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That Section 2-87(a) of the Code of Ordinances, Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is amended to read as follows:
Sec. 2-87. - Membership; terms; staff.
(a) The members of the MSP Advisory Board shall be eighteen (18) in number and shall be appointed by the mayor, with the advice of the constituent groups represented, subject to confirmation by a majority of the urban county councilmembers. Sixteen (16) members shall be voting members and two (2) shall be ex-officio, non-voting members.
