Summary
Authorization to execute a Meet and Confer Memorandum of Understanding between Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME), Local 4468 effective upon approval by Council. The Memorandum of Understanding will provide the terms and conditions set out concerning non-wage benefits and working conditions of certain employees of the Division of Waste Management. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government and pursuant to Resolution No. 181-74 and Ordinance No. 4-75 (which pertain to recognizing organizations representing employees in a non-bargaining unit) be and hereby is authorized to execute the Memorandum of Understanding, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, AFSCME Local 4468, related to non-wage benefits and working conditions for certain employees in the Division of Waste Manageme...
