Summary

Authorization to sign an Agreement between Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government and Speedway LLC authorizing Speedway access to Johnson Heights Park located at 846 Johnsdale Drive, Lexington, Kentucky.  Speedway needs access to sample soil, surface water and ground water for contamination if any due to Underground Storage Tanks located on property owned by Speedway.  No Budgetary impact.                      BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute the Environmental Assessment License, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Speedway, LLC, granting Speedway the right to perform soil and water testing at Johnson Heights Park. 

                     Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
