Summary
Authorization to create one (1) classified position of Personal Protective Equipment Technician (Grade 511N) in the Division of Fire and Emergency Services, effective upon passage by Council. The Division is requesting this position to better meet the ongoing and changing needs of the Division. The purpose of this position is to provide the staffing necessary to respond to the needs of the division to properly maintain, inspect and track all personal protective equipment. To illustrate, this has a 12-month future impact of a cost of $47,556.00. Funds are budgeted. (L1223-15)(Maxwell/Bastin)
