Summary
Authorization to execute an agreement with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Tactical Diversion Task Force Agreement. The Tactical Diversion Task Force Agreement allows for one (1) Lexington Division of Police Officer to be assigned to this task force for a period of not less than two years. During this period of assignment, the officer will be under the direct supervision and control of a DEA Supervisory Special Agent assigned to the Task Force. The term of this agreement shall be from October 1, 2015 through September 30, 2016. There will be no budgetary impact. (L0902-15)(Barnard/Bastin)

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute an Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with the Drug Enforcement Administration, for the Tactical Diversion Task Force.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
