A Resolution authorizing and directing the Mayor or her designee, on behalf of the Urban County Government, to execute and submit an Opportunity Ky. Grant Application to LG&E/KU, to provide any additional information required in connection with this Grant Application, to accept this Grant if it is awarded, which Grant funds are in the amount of up to $200,000 and are for Infrastructure Development in the Legacy Business Park, the acceptance of which obligates the Urban County Government to the expenditure of a 100% local match to the funds awarded, and to take any further action necessary related to the Grant; and further authorizing the Mayor to transfer unencumbered funds within the Grant Budget. Section 1 - That the Mayor, or her designee, on behalf of the Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute and submit an Opportunity Kentucky Grant application to LG&E/KU, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, to provide any additional information required in connection with this Grant Application, to accept this Grant it the Grant is awarded, which Grant funds are in the amount of up to $200,000.00 and are for infrastructure development in the Legacy Business Park, the acceptance of which obligates the Urban County Government to the expenditure of a 100% local match to the funds awarded, and to take any further action necessary related to the Grant.
Section 2 - That subject to the provisions of Section 7-48 of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government Code of Ordinances, the Mayor is hereby authorized, in her discretion as Chief Executive Officer of the Urban County Government, to transfer the unencumbered balance of any operating or capital account appropriation to another operating or capital account appropriation within the Grant Budget established for this Grant.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
