Body
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2.03 of the Charter of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, Resolution No. 507-2012 was enacted by the Urban County Council on September 13, 2012 and Resolution No. 595-2012 was enacted by the Urban County Council on October 25, 2012, specifying the intention of the Urban County Government to expand and extend the Full Urban Services District; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2.03 of the Charter of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, Resolution No. 507-2012 and Resolution No. 595-2012 were published in the Lexington Herald-Leader; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to KRS 67A.860, certified letters were mailed to property owners to be affected by the expansion and extension of the Full Urban Services District, informing them of the proposed expansion and extension and the time and place of a public hearing; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2.03 of the Charter of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government and KRS 67A.860, a public hearing was held on November 13, 2012 to inform and receive the views of all interested persons concerning the expansion and extension of the Full Urban Services District.
NOW, THEREFORE, PURSUANT TO SECTION 2.03 OF THE CHARTER OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT AND KRS 67A.150, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
