BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 -That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to accept Grant funds in the amount of $478,748.00 in Federal funds from the Office of Justice Programs at the U.S. Department of Justice, under the Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental Funding (CSEF), for the purpose of paying overtime and purchasing equipment and supplies for the Division of Police and Community Corrections to prevent, prepare for and respond to the coronavirus, the acceptance of which does not obligate the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government for the expenditure of funds.
