Title

A Resolution appointing an ad hoc Citizens' Committee to recommend candidates for the position of Citizens' Advocate.  [Council Office, Maynard]

Body

WHEREAS, Section 4.11 of the Charter provides for a Citizens' Advocate to be appointed by the Council from a list of candidates recommended by an ad hoc Citizens' Committee appointed by the Council and consisting of a citizens' representative from each of the twelve (12) Council Districts.

      NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

      Section 1 - That there is hereby established an ad hoc Citizens' Committee to recommend a list of candidates for the position of Citizens' Advocate.

      Section 2 - That the following members are hereby appointed to said Citizens' Committee from each of the respective Council Districts as indicated:

(1)      1^st District      Paula Campbell

(2)      2^nd District      Beth Workman

(3)      3^rd District      Joe Turley

(4)      4^th District      Chad Aull

(5)      5^th District      Ron Vissing

(6)      6^th District      Pat Tatum

(7)      7^th District      Chris Miller

(8)      8^th District       Richard Russell

(9)      9^th District      Damon Snyder

(10)      10^th District      Martha Nall

(11)      11^th District      Susan Spalding

(12)      12^th District      Steve Hupman

Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
